Extract from the third volume of the Archives du museum d'histoire naturelle de Lyon, containing an article on shells and molluscs from Lake Amik (Turkey), the Sea of Galilee and Lake Homs (Syria), written by the French malacologist Arnould Locard (1841-1904). "This work, superbly illustrated, gives, with the fullest details, descriptions of all the known molluscs of the Lake of Galilee ..." (Tristram).
